Consulting

Consulting

Your outsourced quality department.

Certification is mostly a documentation problem and a discipline problem. We handle the first and coach you through the second — and we've sat on both sides of the audit table.

How it works

Four stages, no mystery

Every engagement is scoped to what you actually need. Most companies need stages one and two; some need all four.

Stage 1

Gap analysis

We read what you have against clauses 4 through 10 and give you an honest list of what's missing, what's close, and what's fine as it stands.

Stage 2

Documentation

We convert your existing documents and write what's absent — in your language, referencing your processes, not a template company's.

Stage 3

Internal audit

A full internal audit against the standard, with findings written the way a certification body writes them, so nothing on audit day is a surprise.

Stage 4

Certification support

We prepare your team, sit in on the audit if you want us there, and help close whatever findings come out of it.

Why us

We've been audited, not just trained

AnchorPoint is run by a working precious-metals assayer — a trade where measurement, calibration and traceability aren't abstractions. The documents we sell are the ones we built for ourselves. The software is the system we wanted and couldn't buy.

That means you'll get told when something isn't worth doing, which is rarer in this industry than it should be.

Questions

Before you get in touch

What does it cost?

It depends entirely on what you have and what you need — which is why there's no price on this page. A gap analysis for a small single-site manufacturer is a different job from converting a fifteen-year-old paper system. Tell us where you are and we'll quote the work, not a package.

Do I have to use your software?

No. Plenty of clients stay on Word and Excel, and that's a legitimate way to hold a certificate. If the software helps, we'll say so; if it wouldn't, we'll say that too.

Can you guarantee certification?

No one honestly can. Certification depends on your organisation doing the things your quality system says it does, consistently, over time. What we can do is make sure the documentation is right and that nothing on audit day comes as a surprise.

Do you work outside Rhode Island?

Yes. Most of the work is remote, with on-site time where it earns its keep — usually the internal audit and the certification audit itself.

Tell us where you're stuck

A short conversation usually establishes whether you need a consultant, a document pack, or just a nudge in the right direction.
